2. Information we use
Depending on how you interact with us, we may use:
- identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, company and delivery address;
- product-waitlist information, limited to your email address, selected product, source page and consent timestamps and version;
- cart-session information, such as a Shopify cart identifier and the products and quantities you choose in that cart;
- enquiry and correspondence information you choose to provide;
- order, delivery, refund and customer-service records for purchases made through our checkout;
- limited technical information created when the website is requested, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and security logs.
Payment details are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. HOLVERNE does not store full card details.
3. Why we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries and take steps you request before a contract; fulfil and support orders under a contract; keep appropriate business, tax and accounting records to meet legal obligations; and protect, maintain and understand the website where this is necessary for our legitimate interests.
We rely on your consent for product-waitlist emails. We use that consent only to send availability news for the product you selected and closely related HOLVERNE launch updates. Joining is optional, the consent box is not pre-selected, and you may withdraw consent at any time.
5. How long we keep information
Product-waitlist records automatically expire no later than 18 months after your latest registration, and we will delete them sooner if you withdraw consent or ask us to erase them. We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as it is reasonably needed to answer the enquiry and manage the relationship. Order and accounting records may be retained for up to six years, or longer where the law requires. Technical security logs are kept for a limited period appropriate to their purpose.
6. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information; object to certain uses; receive portable information; and withdraw consent. To leave the waitlist or exercise another right, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before acting.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.
8. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our services or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
